Scalp micropigmentation involves a small needle which deposits pigment into the upper dermis layer of the scalp. This procedure is NOT commonly known to have much pain however clients can have some discomfort when working over thinner or more sensitive parts of the scalp such as the crown of the head and the temple.
The final result is based on two aspects
Each client is different and may experience little to no discomfort in certain areas. This procedure has been described as an itchy feeling. Some clients have described the worst discomfort as a comparison to a mosquito bite. The general clientele has rated the discomfort level on a scale of 1-10 to be 3-4 at the worst.
